Hey world, my name is Cat. Here’s a little about me:
A recent obsession with healthy living became my way of life, and so I’ve put my career as a workaholic photography producer on indefinite hold in favor of the world of health and wellness advocacy. It’s a big scary change into uncharted territory for me, but the benefits are worth the challenge. Life of holistic wellness, here I come!
So if it’s wellness-related, count me in – from yoga to acupuncture, nutrition to fitness, massage therapy to meditation, and much more. I believe we can all take better care of ourselves and each other, and that through our renewed collective health we will make this a better world.
For me, that means nourishing the body, mind & spirit, cultivating balance, honoring beauty, finding humor, and remaining loving and open to the gifts around us. At no point do I claim to be a model of perfect health or spiritual enlightenment – I’m a work in progress like everyone else!
The aim of this site is to share some of what I’ve learned in my ever-evolving journey towards better health, to hopefully offer some useful information, and to spread the word about the power of wellness to change, well, everything! Every person is different and I believe there are many different paths to good health. It is up to each of us to find a balance of practices that works for his or her own body and lifestyle. The ideas, methods, and wellness modalities I enjoy and review may not all be for you, but it’s likely that some of them may aid you in your efforts to be the best person you can be.
I hope that at least some of what you find here is informative, inspiring, or helpful in your own quest toward personal health and happiness. But whether you use any of it in your own lives or not, I sincerely believe that we all benefit from trying to live and love better. Good luck and be well!
